What the film shows, in words
  1. See where your study time should lean.
  2. The weights you enter: People 33%, Process 41%, Business environment 26%.
  3. Less sure of two domains: 30%, 43%, 27%. 16 weeks × 8 hours = 128 hours.
  4. Strong in People: 22%, 48%, 30%.
  5. Only one weak domain: 28%, 34%, 38%. The smallest part of the exam, the largest share.
  6. Strong in all three: 33%, 41%, 26%. A plan, not a promise. GKM is not a PMI Authorized Training Partner.

Three confidences, changed one at a time

Step 1 of 4

The exam weighs the domains 33, 41, 26. This plan leans a little: 30, 43, 27.

Confidence today: working in People, some in Process, some in Business environment. 16 weeks, 128 hours. Most time on: Process.

ExampleWorked example: an exam about sixteen weeks away, eight hours a week. Nothing is saved or sent.

A facet shows a share of time. The weeks are counted from the tool’s own schedule, which works in whole weeks, so the two can differ.

  • Eligibility comes first. PMI requires 35 contact hours of project management education (or CAPM) plus experience. Check the current rules on pmi.org.

Now your date, and your confidence.

Set the date and the hours. Then choose a confidence on each side of the triangle: its three areas are your three shares, and the schedule below rebuilds.

The schedule, week by week Live

The triangle is the split; this table is the schedule. The schedule gives each learning or practice week to one domain, so it follows the split only as closely as whole weeks allow: People leads 4, Process leads 4 and Business environment leads 4 of the 12 learning and practice weeks, and the last 4 weeks are for all domains.

How it works, and its limits.

The rules are published so you can check them. The weights are the ones you enter: check the current outline on pmi.org.

43% this planexam weight 41%

Each domain’s share = its exam weight × (1 + (4 − your confidence) ÷ 4), normalised, so weaker domains get more time.

The example, worked. Process: weight 41 × (1 + (4 − 1) ÷ 4) = 71.75. The three come to 166.75. 71.75 ÷ 166.75 = 43%.
Three panes of clearly different sizes meeting at an off-centre point in a concrete frame: two clear to the sky and the sea, and the amber one the largest.
Three panes, three sizes. The weaker domain gets the larger share.

Method

  1. 01

Weeks = whole weeks between today and your exam date; hours = weeks × weekly hours.

  2. 02

Each domain’s share = its exam weight × (1 + (4 − your confidence) ÷ 4), normalised, so weaker domains get more time.

  3. 03

Phases: about 40% learning, 40% practice questions, the rest full-length timed practice and review.

What it cannot tell you

  • A plan, not a promise: no schedule can guarantee a pass.
  • Check the current exam content outline and eligibility rules on pmi.org.
  • The practice questions are original and short; they are not a copy of any exam bank.

Quality ruleNo copied exam bank, pass guarantee or ATP affiliation.
