Where AI helps our work, who remains accountable, how client material is kept confidential, and how AI use is disclosed.
What AI assists
AI speeds up research synthesis, first drafts, coding, data preparation and translation drafts. It does not make decisions about people, and it does not replace a principal’s judgement.
Human accountability
A named principal reviews every output that reaches you. We check facts, figures and citations against their sources, and we do not present AI output as a finding until it has been checked.
Confidentiality
Client material goes only into AI tools approved for that engagement, and only tools whose terms do not permit training on your inputs. If you prefer no AI use on your material, tell us and we will agree that in the scope.
Disclosure
We tell you when AI contributed materially to a deliverable. In academic work, the researcher remains the author, and any assistance is declared as the institution requires. See Academic integrity.
