The practice
AI readiness, policies, inventories, EU AI Act transparency and data-protection work that gives your organisation clear owners, controls and review dates for the AI it already uses.

When organisations call us, and where we stop.
The situations this practice exists for, and the lines we do not cross.
When to call
- Staff are using AI tools without rules
- A client, funder or regulator asks how you govern AI
- You process personal data in Ghana or serve EU residents
- The board wants one accountable view of AI risk
Our boundaries
- We give operational assessments, not legal opinions or certifications.
- Where a question turns on legal interpretation, we frame it for counsel.
- No tool here awards a compliance score.
Services in this practice.
Each one starts with a defined first scope and a fixed fee agreed in writing.
- 04.01 EU AI Act Article 50We check one AI system against the EU AI Act’s Article 50 transparency obligations, as a provider or a deployer, and help you put the applicable disclosure and marking controls in place.
- 04.02 Ghana Data Protection Act registration and renewalWe prepare your organisation’s registration or renewal with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), and keep our professional fee clearly separate from the Commission’s statutory fees.
- 04.03 Responsible-AI and data-protection reviewWe map one processing workflow end to end, identify the operational privacy and AI-use gaps, and scope the remediation, escalating to specialists where a legal question needs one.
- 04.04 Fractional Chief AI OfficerA defined monthly cadence of AI decisions and oversight for firms that need senior AI leadership but cannot justify a full-time executive: priorities, owners and actions, reviewed on a fixed rhythm.

Free tool AI inventory template
List every AI system and use in your organisation with its owner, data, impact on people and human review. The register ranks what to review first by a published rubric, without pretending to certify anything.
Open the tool
Free tool AI policy template
Choose what your organisation allows, what data must never go into AI tools, who is accountable and how outputs are reviewed. The template drafts policy clauses and lists every decision still open, ready for a leadership workshop.
Open the tool
Free tool EU AI Act Article 50 checklist
Tell us your role and what your AI system produces or does. The checklist lists the Article 50 transparency points that may apply, with the paragraph each comes from, dated for review by a qualified adviser.
Open the tool
Free tool Data mapping template
Map each category of data you handle: why you hold it, where it comes from, who receives it, where it goes and how long you keep it. The builder lists the governance questions to settle before registration or review. Describe categories only; never paste real records.
Open the tool
Free tool AI readiness assessment
Rate eighteen statements across strategy, use cases, data, people, governance and technology. You get a readiness score by dimension, your top gaps and the first action for each, scored by a rubric published on the page.
Open the tool
Free tool AI governance framework template
Tell us your size, how far AI use has gone, which roles you have and which controls exist. The framework assigns duties to the roles you actually have, lists the controls to build in priority order and sets a review rhythm, linked to your AI inventory.
